Clinical Oral Examinations
The American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommend the first dental exam to be between the time of the first tooth eruption and by a child's first birthday. While there may not be any specific dental concerns this early in a child's life, the early encounter initiates the growing familiarly and comfort with our team. Once care is established, routine dental exams are recommended every six (6) months. Depending on your child's individual oral health evaluation, follow-up examinations may be recommended sooner.
